- Inspect damaged vehicles: You'll be the detective, thoroughly examining car exteriors, interiors, and sometimes even undercarriages to assess all the collision damage.
- Write detailed estimates: Translate that damage into a clear, concise report outlining the parts, labor, and time needed to bring the car back to pre-accident condition.
- Communicate effectively: Be the bridge between customers, insurance companies, and technicians, clearly explaining the repair process, timeline, and costs.
- Negotiate estimates: Collaborate with all parties to reach a fair and accurate repair plan that fits everyone's needs.
- Stay up-to-date: Continuously learn about new industry standards, repair techniques, and parts pricing to ensure your estimates stay sharp.
